I apologize for the delay in getting this email to you. I would like to extend my thanks to you and the entire Climb Kili staff for an absolutely incredible experience on the mountain. As you know, I summited on Oct 6th. Climb Kili surpassed all of my expectations. From the guides to the gear, food, and overall team, it was a Grade A experience!!!Goodluck was an expert guide; he was all business but looked after each and every one of us very carefully. He was in tune with how each person felt on the mountain at all times. King George, with his great chicken hat, prepared amazing food that we all loved. Amani was a smiling, friendly and patient face I came to rely on (he was kind enough to comfort me when I was slightly emotional as a solo climber). GodBless and Junior cracked jokes to make everyone laugh but kept very close eyes on us. GodBless insisted on carrying my pack on summit night, despite that I felt fine at the beginning. He also helped me down from the summit by “scree-skiing” with me, when I was slightly woozy and very tired with aching knees. I relied on all four of them for assistance and they were always there as immense supporters.
Michael and Douglas, as well as the toilet engineer (I apologize for not remembering his name), never faltered and were as kind as could be. And the porters…they are superhuman!
I am forever grateful to the Climb Kili team. Thank you again! If you could please pass this on to the four guides (GoodLuck, Amani, Junior, and GodBless), it would be much appreciated! I will post this to Trip Advisor as well, but I wanted to personally extend my gratitude. Thanks again
