Immediately after booking, the company reached out to send us a welcome packet/gift and answer any questions, and Tiffany was extremely helpful (and patient – pretty sure we have an email thread of 50+ emails!).
We had a group of 8 climbers, 4 guides, and ~23ish guys to carry stuff/cook. The friendliness, attention to detail, and experienced wisdom the Climb Kili people had was clear right away: we could tell that our group was having more fun on the trails, had the best camp set-up, and had a higher success rate than other tour groups.
I’m vegetarian so I was worried about the food and not getting enough to eat during the trip, but the chef went above and beyond and cooked three course meals that were delicious. Someone in my group turned 40 on the trip and the chef BAKED him a whole cake – do you know how hard this is to do at altitude?!?
