Ken “The Baller” Licari–US

ClimbKili is by far the leader and experts when it comes to climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. My team, all seven us summited three weeks ago today with a 100 % success. Our stay at.the Summit Lodge was truly a first class act, led by an amazing lady and her staff Ms. Siangicha Moshi. Thank you Siangicha, your hospitality and genuine kindness was truly appreciated. From the wonderful staff at the front desk to a special lady from the house keeping staff. Thank you Winie Mlay. The cleanest hotel I have ever experienced! The folks at the reception desk set the tone for a great stay. With their wonderful smiles and warm welcome I knew it would be a great experience..so thank you to Paul Raymond, Devotha Hipolit and Upendo Shayo. And to the young men who helped me with my bags in the morning b4 we departed.
It was because our amazing guides, led by Herment Mosha, Godlizen Dowson and Florian Mosha. All three of our guides were always looking out for our safety and well being. They not only are experts at taking people to the summit of Kilimanjaro. But they are gracious hosts. They took the time to.teach us about the culture of not only Mt. Kilimanjaro, but also about the tribes surrounding the region of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Food up on the mountain was hot and delicious. Headed by the best Chef trekking Mt. Kilimanjaro, Chef Justin thank you for the delicious meals. When most companies were serving box lunches, Chef Justin was serving hot cooked lunches. From the delicious breakfast, to your amazing lunches to the outstanding dinners…here’s to you Chef Justin…thank you. Our waiter, Omar Jumanne was the most kind hearted most giving man you’ll ever meet. A true servant, a man who just wanted to make sure we were happy and taking care of. Some day Omar is gonna make a great Chief Guide. But there is one man I have to single out, but b4 I mention who he is, I want everyone to know. Nothing and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING takes place on that mountain without the dedication of those hard working Porters. Not only do they carry your personal gear and then teams equipment. They make it their goal to serve you each and every day! So to the Porters of Clim Kili, know that you are the BEST OF THE BEST…psst don’t ever forget our “SECRET HAMD SHAKE”. But if I may, please know that I am so grateful to Anthony Faustine. When after I summitted, I was basically stumbling down the mountain. I was hurting pretty bad. I couldn’t much walk without the support of someone helping me because my knee had swelled up so much. Herment had been helping me almost all the way down to camp. Hermet had his hands full, not only was he carrying his gear, but my hear too. I’m sure Herment was exhausted. I later found out he had called ahead by radio to request assistance to help walk me down the rest of the way…When there Anthony was waiting about 3/4 of the way down, waiting to help me. He grabbed my poles, tucked his arm under mine and gripped my hand so tight he almost cut my circulation off lol. Not allowing me once to fall or stumble. Thank you Anthony, I’ll never forget you for wanting to help me.
The service and food while we stayed in the Summit Lodge was nothing short of AMAZING! Service was first class, a class act by some great people.
From being picked up and driven from the airport by Boney to Gideon Ngelela drivong us from Summit Lodge to the Londorsi Gate to register. Gideon Got it done!
But the fun didn’t stop there. I took a three day safari afterwards through the Serengeti and Ngorongorp Crater. We stayed the first night in the bush, in tr he middle of no where in the Serengeti. Where we sat and watched from the porch of our luxury tent, five girragfe frolic and play…Truly Amazing. Then on to the Crater where got to see Lions and the birth of a wildebeest. Incredible! We stayed on top.of the Ngorongoro Crater at the Wild Life lodge…5 star meal with 5 star accommodations. Thank you Steven for the greatest adventure. Thank for getting after the Big Five.
But this trip wouldn’t of been possible if it weren’t for ClimKili Tiffany and.David Watson. Every time.we had a question or requied further clarification. Both Tiffany and David were there to help and guide each step of the way..there is a reason why ClimbKili sets then standard for climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro.
