After a hearty breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today’s adventure includes a game viewing experience and a descent into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the eighth natural wonder of the world.
Formed approximately two million years ago after a massive volcanic eruption, the 19-kilometer-wide crater is enclosed by 600-meter-high walls, creating a natural enclosure teeming with wildlife. The crater features diverse landscapes, including acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands, providing a sanctuary for over 30,000 animals.
During your game drive, witness elephants, warthogs, flamingos, and the rare black rhinoceros. You may also see the Maasai people grazing their cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest, offering a glimpse into their traditional way of life.
