Your group has its own private toilet and toilet tent at every campsite and lunch stop, so you never have to share with other climbers on the mountain.

DAY 1
Into the rainforest
Londorossi Gate through the montane forest to Mti Mkubwa Camp.
DAY 2
Out of the trees
Up through heather and moorland to Shira Camp.
DAY 3
Across the plateau
Wide-open Shira Plateau views on the way to Moir Camp.
DAY 4
Climb high, sleep low
Around the mountain and down to Barranco Camp to acclimatize.
DAY 5
Conquer the Wall
Scramble the Barranco Wall together, on to Karanga Camp.
DAY 6
High camp
Up to Kosovo Camp. Early dinner, early bed, big night ahead.
DAY 7
SUMMIT DAY
Midnight start, sunrise on Uhuru Peak, then down to Mweka Camp. You did that.
DAY 8
Celebrate
Down to Mweka Gate, then certificates and dancing with the crew.
Why Lemosho? It's quieter, wildly scenic, and its gradual start gives your body time to adjust to the altitude. Your trip also includes an arrival day in Arusha before the trek and a departure day after.
