Day 1: Arusha Airport – Flight to Serengeti

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your 8:00 AM flight to Serengeti National Park. (Please note the 15kg/33lb weight limit for luggage.) Upon arrival at the Serengeti airstrip, you will be met by your guide and embark on a full day of game viewing in the park.

The Central Serengeti, particularly the Seronera River Valley, is a wildlife hotspot that offers spectacular game viewing year-round. You will encounter an array of resident herbivores, including impalas, buffalo, hippos, warthogs, topis, hartebeests, and giraffes, while predators such as lions and leopards roam the plains in search of prey.

Day 2: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, an awe-inspiring natural wonder often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world.

The crater was formed two million years ago after a massive volcanic eruption caused the caldera to collapse, creating a unique enclosed ecosystem. The 600-meter-high crater walls surround over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, and the rare black rhinoceros. You’ll also have the opportunity to observe the Maasai people grazing their cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Tarangire National Park, a stunning landscape covering nearly 3,000 square kilometers. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Named after the Tarangire River, which provides a year-round water source, this park is a wildlife haven, especially during the dry season, when animal concentrations rival those of the Serengeti.

The park is home to over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife lovers and birdwatchers alike. Enjoy an exciting game drive, where you might spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and diverse antelope species.

In the afternoon, return to Arusha, concluding your unforgettable safari experience.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 AM with a packed lunch and embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Covering nearly 3,000 square kilometers, the park is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Named after the Tarangire River, which flows through the park, it becomes a vital water source during the dry season, attracting wildlife in Serengeti-like concentrations.

The park is home to over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species, making it an essential destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater was formed two million years ago when a volcanic eruption caused the caldera to collapse, creating one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world. The 600-meter-high walls enclose a unique ecosystem featuring acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and vast grasslands.

Home to over 30,000 animals, the crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, with opportunities to see black rhinos, elephants, lions, and flamingos. You may also encounter Maasai herders grazing their cattle alongside wild animals.

In the afternoon, travel to Lake Manyara National Park.

The park is also home to tree-climbing lions, a rare and fascinating behavior unique to this region. With diverse landscapes and a rich variety of wildlife, Lake Manyara offers a fantastic final safari experience before returning to Arusha.
