The Climb Kili Difference

Summit to Safari to Sand

Unlike most others, at Climb Kili we do not contract out your climb or safari to a different company — we're with you from start to finish.

Climb Kili is among the few companies that maintain complete quality control over our high standards of safety, service, and summit success, as well as our own safari vehicles and Zanzibar tours — all with Climb Kili staff that's second to none.

The Climb Kili Difference

Safety

No other company on Kilimanjaro carries more safety equipment than Climb Kili — and we're KPAP-certified, meaning the crew carrying that equipment is also treated fairly and ethically, independently verified.

  • Guides are Wilderness First Responder certified
  • Emergency oxygen on every climb
  • Hyperbaric chambers
  • Portable stretchers
  • Pulse oximeters
  • First aid kits & injury prevention kits
  • Frequency radios and mobile communication

All equipment is regularly maintained and certified for perfect working order. Since reaching the summit is optional, but returning safely is mandatory, Climb Kili cuts no corners when it comes to your safety and health. More on our safety protocol →

The Climb Kili Difference

Higher-Altitude Summit Camps

We use higher-altitude summit camps that give you the best possible chance of reaching Uhuru Peak. Shorter summit night distances mean less fatigue, less time exposed to extreme cold and altitude, and a higher success rate when it matters most — directly contributing to our 98.8% summit success rate.

Combined with our mandatory acclimatization schedule and daily health monitoring, this is one of the specific operational choices behind why Climb Kili's summit success consistently outperforms rushed, budget itineraries. Compare our routes →
